A Strong Voice for Squamish
Squamish is an amazing community and it deserves a strong, effective voice to lead and champion it – around the council table, in the community, and externally to our partners.
I bring the skills, experience, and relationships that are needed to be a strong advocate and convener on the issues that can’t be solved by the municipality alone, but matter deeply to our community: healthcare capacity, affordable housing, mental health & addictions, reconciliation, transit expansion, education investments, emergency preparedness, and addressing the climate crisis.
My deep understanding of how our municipal systems work - and the opportunities for change - come from countless hours around the Council table, as well as a number of roles that have allowed me to build relationships across our community, our region, and our province. These roles include:
Director, Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (2021–2026)
Chair, Sea to Sky Hospital District (2023–2026; Director 2021–2023)
1st Vice-President, Union of BC Municipalities (Board Member 2022–2026)
Board Member, Squamish Community Housing Society (2022–2026)
Member, District of Squamish & Squamish Nation joint Land Back Task Force (2026)
Co-lead, Squamish Youth Council (2025-2026)
Co-chair, BC Social Procurement Initiative (2022–2024)
Check out the About Jenna page to learn more about these various roles and how I’ve been able to deliver meaningful wins for Squamish using a collaborative approach in each of these roles.
I also encourage you to check out my On The Record page where I’ve tracked real progress against commitments I’ve made in previous campaigns and share some of the work that I am most proud of.
